There’s something extra special about a proposal that feels completely woven into a couple’s everyday life, and for Kat and Dom, their Central Park engagement was exactly that.
Living on the Upper East Side, the park is already part of their story. So on a beautiful day, they set out on what felt like a normal walk, something they’ve likely done countless times before. But this time, Dom had a plan.
As they made their way into Central Park, he led Kat toward one of the park’s most charming and intimate hidden gems: Glade Arch. Tucked away and full of character, it’s one of those iconic spots that feels both cinematic and personal at the same time.
Under the arch, surrounded by the quiet beauty of the park, Dom got down on one knee and asked Kat to spend forever with him.
She said yes!!
And just when Kat thought the moment couldn’t get any more perfect, it did.
Waiting just around the corner were their closest family members, who came out to surprise them and celebrate the newly engaged couple. The joy, the hugs, the happy tears, it was one of those moments you wish you could freeze in time.
From there, we wandered through Central Park, soaking in everything that makes it so magical this time of year. We stopped by Bethesda Terrace, where the energy of the park meets its timeless architecture, and then made our way to one of the most breathtaking sights of the season—the cherry trees in full bloom. Soft petals, golden light, and pure happiness made for the dreamiest post-proposal portraits.
The celebration didn’t end there.
Kat and Dom met their family at Tavern on the Green, where the evening continued with a beautiful dinner filled with laughter, storytelling, and the kind of love that surrounds you when two families come together.
From a simple walk on the Upper East Side to a heartfelt proposal at Glade Arch and a joyful dinner celebration, every part of their day felt meaningful, effortless, and completely them.
A perfect New York love story, right in the heart of Central Park.
